I had a few years of work experience in the English-Vietnamese translating industry and it was a good working experience. It gave me a lot of knowledge regarding marketing and I have learned many things about this field. From my experience, it all started with a Youtube channel with only a few hundred subscribers that I work as a habit. The Youtube channel was mainly about song translation with mostly immature and first-hand experience. But this has given me the opportunity to know and engage with more people of the same industry and connect to people with the same interests. This leads me to work on bigger projects as an assistant for translating in dubbing scripts of Hollywood movies. And which, after that help me to have some of my few first projects with movies translated by my own for Netflix. This has given me chances to know more people in the industry and work on bigger projects as a freelancer and an assistant. I hope in the future I can work with bigger projects and getting to know more people, as well as gain more working experience as an intern or official position.
