Gabrielle is a life-long professional who has written, edited, translated and designed her way through trade journalism in China, business creation and investment-related consulting jobs in Hong Kong and Beijing. She now specialises helping writers in the UK, in the European countries and the USA to help them find the words. Education and learning opportunities: I studied Chinese at the School of Oriental and African Studies, history and economics in Nanjing University. Much later I was the head of an NGO specialising in micro-finance and developing ways for Chinese marginalised farmers to get out of their poverty via adapted education for those who could not yet read. I now live in France as a registered entrepreneur, where I sometimes work with business French to English or cultural facilitation/consulting and translation between French and Chinese companies. When not working for clients, I can be found trying to keep up with developments around climate change, healthcare, mental health, sustainable agriculture and food-growing. Most important in this list are ways of building back resilience in the context of endangered ecosystems.
