Hello, my name is Juliana, I'm a graphic designer with a passion for translating unique ideas into beautiful and meaningful visual experiences. I’ve been working in all areas of graphic design, print and digital, in several studios and companies in Lugano (Switzerland), London (UK) and Porto Alegre (Brazil), before founding Apis Studio in 2018 - a branding and photography studio which I run with my husband, Cesar Junior, a professional food and still life photographer. Our combined experience of over 20 years in photography and graphic design allow us to create beautiful and contemporary projects, with a very versatile, creative and artistic approach. We focus on the food sector, specially restaurants, food & beverage producers and premium or organic/sustainable projects, as our passion for the gastronomic world comes from our belief that food is a key aspect of our environment and wellbeing. My passion to write started at twelve years old and never stopped growing since then. This is the reason why I wrote a book last year published by a parisian editing company called "Vérone Éditions". Learning new languages always been a passion, that's why I studied translation at University. I have experience in verbal translation as I was working in a very famous greek hotel and had the opportunity to translate French, English and a bit of Spanish to important guests. Besides speaking French, as it is my first language, I speak English fluently and understand Spanish pretty well. I also can have a small conversation in Spanish and have some knowledges of German. I love challenging myself and I am not afraid to go out of my comfort zone by joining profesional fields that I didn't experienced before. It led me to have a lot of experiences in many different work fields. Indeed, I worked in the educational field, restaurants, hotels, theaters and voice acting.
