At some point, the money pouring into their efforts returned gains that definitely got smaller. No one was concentrating on customer intent, or who they were talking to. Sometimes opportunities need to be reassessed, OODA loops need to be readjusted, but most importantly, marketers and companies both need to focus on how to speak to customers beyond the transaction.
