I have a depth of experience in wide range of skills that includes: - DJing/Radio - Voice Over - Music Curation, Music Programming + Music Directing - Producing & Hosting Live Events - Interviewing - Leadership & Team Management - Project Management - Voice Over - Financial Educator My name is Aaron Byrd and I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I am curious, a natural born leader, hard worker, collaborator nature and have spent all of my. adult life in service to others and building community. I'm both eager and excited to share my experience and skills with others to accomplish their goals. Though I'm a native Angeleno, I have always viewed myself as a global citizen. Music and travel are my biggest passions: new experiences, people, places and, most of all, music. Having visited 33 countries (so far) and currently splitting my time between Los Angeles and Mexico City. My love of culture and community is only matched by my attraction to the unknown and thirst for discovery. This fuels an eclectic and expansive taste ranging from Cuban Guaguancó to the Maghreb sounds of North Africa, from hidden gems to B-sides, new and old. All of these curiosities could be heard on my long-running radio show on KCRW which ended Fall '21, described as a "global exploration of sound". Shortly after my tenure as on-air talent, I moved into the role of the first-ever Music Director for KALW, San Francisco - the oldest radio station west of the Mississippi, where I have a proven track record of spearheading initiatives and growth by designing the blueprint for the expansion of the radio station. During my time there, I created promotional arms, digital marketing, their first all-music newsletter, fundraising strategies and boosted community engagement. It is my belief that radio’s purpose is to be in service to the public and thus, both the programming and programmers themselves, should reflect the demography they are serving. This conviction has been my guide with scouting and developing talent. All of which has tripled listenership and increased the music department revenue by 300%. For 14 1⁄2 years I hosted a music show on KCRW, a public radio station here in Los Angeles. When I began, I was the youngest DJ on the team. Some of my most formative years were spent creating connections through my music show and live events. This pursuit took me around the world and revealed my purpose - to bring people together. As a music supervisor for film and television I am responsible for hiring composers, managing show budgets and commissioning original music. I help identify, develop, prioritize and communicate the value of songs that enrich storytelling. Being a supervisor requires working with directors, show runners, editors, musicians, composers and other artists to create a harmonious union of audio and visual and thus the overall experience. All of which are mutable skills that will help foster a safe and graceful experience for both attendees and staff. In addition to my time on air and as a music supervisor, I have also curated and produced close to 500 live events around Los Angeles over the last decade plus. The one event I’m the most proud of and is also the longest running, is called Byrd Series (trademark pending). The Byrd Series is a live event that showcases exceptional talent from around the world. Through this work I have developed an ability to both navigate and manage a wide range of egos, personalities, deadlines, and cultural differences. Additionally, I have learned how consequential it is to, treat people with respect, ensure a safe space for all and be a creative problem solver. All of which are necessary ingredients when cultivating an intentional experience. A bio can feel limiting and so it can be difficult to fully encapsulate the multitudes of who I am and what I have to offer. What I do know is that I embody a unique combination of skills and experiences. I am first and foremost a seeker. I believe many minds are stronger than one. Integrity, kindness, emotional intelligence and remaining curious equally serve as my compass. I know one of my greatest strengths is my ability to lead. This is a sacred responsibility and one I take very seriously in every aspect of my life. I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished thus far and through hard work and with the spirit of collaboration, I’m hungry to support your goals.

Your trademark application is only as strong as the person behind it. I'm a paralegal with 10+ years of USPTO trademark experience, an ABA-approved paralegal certificate, and a track record working with startups, e-commerce sellers, law firms, and multinational corporations. I handle filings within 1–2 business days, and I'm based in California — which means I'm in your time zone, I respond within 4 hours during business hours, and you're never waiting on someone overseas to wake up when a deadline is approaching. Here is where I can specifically help: → Trademark clearance searches using USPTO TESS, common law sources, and WIPO databases → U.S. trademark application preparation and electronic filing (TEAS Plus and TEAS Standard) → Office action responses — I analyze the refusal, explain your options clearly, and draft a strategic response → Trademark portfolio management, renewals, assignments, and maintenance filings → Canada, EU, UK, and Madrid Protocol filings in coordination with foreign counsel → Honest pre-filing assessments — if your mark has a problem, I'll tell you before you spend money What working with me actually looks like: you send me your information, I get to work, and you receive a complete, accurate filing with a full summary of next steps — no back-and-forth, no surprises, no invoice padding. My proactive approach to drafting is designed to streamline the USPTO examination process, helping my clients avoid the typical delays associated with Office Actions. I'm not a law firm. That means faster turnaround, direct access to the person doing the work, and rates that don't include partner billing hours. When a situation genuinely requires an attorney, I'll tell you clearly and refer you to one. Most standard filings don't. Not sure where to start? Book the 30-minute consultation — $50, and the full cost applies toward your filing if you move forward. Send me a message with your brand name and I'll take a look before we even meet.
