With a background in Humanities (MA, PhD Archaeology), my language abilities quickly led me to work as a linguist, first briefly in the press field and then as a Spanish teacher and examiner at Durham University (UK). After working there for several years, I returned to my native Spain where, having obtained the relevant English certificates, I became a freelance English teacher and translator.
