I am looking for a writer with technical writing experience (non-fluff stories) in the real estate and mortgage industry for our company’s monthly blog series.
We are a real estate data company that provides valuable data on the residential real estate market to the mortgage, banking, insurance, risk management, and real estate valuation industry.
ABOUT THE JOB:
We are looking for a writer who would be interested in long-term work and has experience creating engaging, analytical material in the real estate and mortgage industries.
We want to set you up to succeed and make sure you understand our business.
We are happy to provide guidance and offer industry insights to help you understand the kind of content we need. And, prefer a candidate who is self-motivated, kind, and will stick to a content release timeline. In general, the tone we’d like to see is friendly, informative, professional - but not too technical (aka: Not dry, dull reports), with clever and occasionally humorous insights.
ABOUT THE BLOG SERIES

1. A technical piece that does a deeper dive on stats, trends, and hot topics in the real estate & mortgage industries. These can be regional or national in scope.
-A deeper look at key factors driving/killing the Florida (California, Colorado, Delaware, etc) home real estate market.
-Mortgage/real estate market predictions for 2016.
-Review of current residential home market - expert insights + research on those trends.
-Compare and contrast 2 markets.
2. A monthly update featuring highlights & insights pulled from reports and press releases. (and links to those stories/reports)
Possible story sources include:
The Mortgage Bankers Association, The Fed Reserve Banks, The National Associations of Realtors, HUD Housing Reports (and housing Reports in general - like Re/Max, and state housing reports), and The National Associations of Homebuilders.
