I keep production Linux and cloud infrastructure secure, compliant, and boring — in a good way. If your servers are on fire, your auditors are circling, or you want to run AI workloads without handing your data to a third party, I can help. What I do: Linux Systems Engineering — I manage production fleets across Debian/Ubuntu and RHEL-family distros (RHEL, Oracle Linux, Amazon Linux, AlmaLinux) end to end: CIS-benchmark hardening, AppArmor/SELinux, PAM, password/lockout policy, monitoring (Wazuh, Site24x7), automation, and the unglamorous work of keeping systems patched and recoverable. Also basic database administration - Postgres/MySQL. I've debugged everything from broken PAM stacks locking out an entire fleet to security profiles fighting with monitoring agents. I know how to fix things that are hard to diagnose. Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean) — Most experienced with AWS: EC2, ECS, RDS/Aurora(Postgres/MySQL), IAM policy design, CloudTrail/CloudWatch/SNS alerting pipelines, EBS/S3 encryption, backup automation, and asset inventory tooling. I also work in Azure and DigitalOcean environments for clients who live there. I write Python (all the APIs) to automate what shouldn't be done by hand. Security & Compliance — I build and document infrastructure to meet regulatory and audit requirements, including HITRUST-aligned controls for healthcare clients, CIS benchmarks, and auditor-required compensating controls. If you need infrastructure that passes an audit — not just infrastructure that works — that's what I can do. AI Infrastructure — I deploy and manage AI infrastructure for businesses: self-hosted LLM stacks, GPU instance provisioning, API integrations, and the security/networking work that keeps your data where it belongs. Why hire me: 20+ years administering production Linux/Cloud systems (ok, some Windows servers too) I document everything — automations, documented procedures, diagrams, compliance evidence — so your team has a clear record, not tribal knowledge I communicate in plain English, flag risks before they become incidents, and keep you up to date on any work. Typical engagements: security hardening and audit prep, AWS environment cleanup and cost/IAM review, monitoring and alerting buildouts, backup and disaster recovery, LLM/AI deployment on your own infrastructure, ongoing sysadmin work, 24x7 on-call engineer. Message me with a short description of your environment and what's keeping you up at night. I'll tell you honestly whether I'm the right fit.

I build MCP servers that put real systems behind Claude and ChatGPT with the guard rails a business needs. Fourteen of them run in production today across our own products, from a code index that answers questions over thirty-nine repositories to a Chinese corpus engine that searches 179 million text chunks. Each one serves a whole team over authenticated HTTP with a health endpoint and a readiness contract. I also wrote ironmcp, an open-source hardening kit for MCP servers, published for Python, TypeScript, PHP, and Dart. Most MCP frameworks silently drop an argument the tool did not declare, so a typo in a field name returns a confident answer to the wrong question. ironmcp makes the server refuse it with a recoverable error and proves the behaviour with one conformance corpus across all four languages. That matters most when a tool moves money or customer data. The usual engagement is short. You have a SaaS, a warehouse, a CRM, or an internal API, and you want Claude to drive it safely. I scope the tool surface with you, build the server in Python or TypeScript, host it or hand it to your team with a Dockerfile, register it as a Claude connector, and leave a written runbook. Most of these land in one to two weeks at a fixed price. That work rests on more than twenty years of C++, Python, and cross-platform engineering. I founded Loqu8 in 2007, a language technology company whose Flutter and C++ applications ship on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android from one codebase. Every one of those apps is itself an MCP server. Earlier contracts on this platform covered C++ blockchain forks, CUDA and OpenGL, payment SDKs, and database troubleshooting, sixteen jobs with every rating at 4.7 or above. I hold a PhD in applied physics from Stanford and a BS from Caltech. I prefer well-specified fixed-price work with clear milestones. Send me the API you want behind Claude and I will reply with a scope and a price.
