Here's the truth - I've seen countless freelancers and agencies just "do Google Ads" and it's basically a coin flip whether the account does well or not. Why? Because they skip the foundations. They jump into campaigns without understanding your margins, your goals, or whether your tracking is even actually working. That's not how I operate. 🙅 2️⃣ I Start With Your Business, Not Your Ad Account: Before I touch a single campaign, I want to understand: → Your Unit Economics - What are your margins? What's your breakeven? What can you actually afford to pay for a customer and still be profitable? What is your profit to acquisition ratio? Most ecom owners aren't great with these numbers, and that's fine - that's literally why you hire me. → Your Goals - Not just "I want more sales." I'm talking business-level goals, channel-level goals, and campaign-level targets. I do the math to understand what each campaign should actually yield - in profit, not vanity metrics. This also helps align Google Ads with your other channels like Meta, Email, and SEO so everything works in sync - not in silos (as I said, I look at the full picture). → Your Business Context - Who's your customer? Who are your competitors that we need to beat? What's happening in your other channels? I only work with a few clients at a time because I actually want to understand your brand, not just bill you monthly. → Your Conversion Tracking - If your data is broken, every decision you make is based on lies. I audit your full tracking setup - GA4, GTM, server-side, enhanced conversions - and fix what's broken before I optimize anything. → Your GMC & Product Feed - Compliance issues, missing attributes, weak titles - your feed is the backbone of Shopping and PMax. I audit and optimize it so Google actually shows your best products. Only THEN do I look at your Google Ads account. 3️⃣ My Google Ads Strategy: Once the audit is done, I build a strategy that actually connects in sync to your business and it's goals - not a generic template. This includes: • Campaign structure (consolidate vs. segment - and why) • Bid strategies tied to your targets • Budgets allocated by profitability, not guesswork • Audience targeting based on real buyer behaviour • Ad creative production - RSAs, image ads, asset creation (video scripts provided for your team to produce) etc.. 4️⃣ The Execution: I don't just hand you a document and disappear. I execute on everything that I found in your audit: • Fix and upgrade your conversion tracking • Set up and optimize your GMC/product feed • Build and launch the campaigns properly • Ongoing management, optimization, and scaling • Monitoring, reporting, and A/B testing 5️⃣ The Consulting You Didn't Know You Needed: Look, I'm not going to pretend I can run your whole entire marketing department. Google Ads is what I do, and I do it well. But I also pay attention - and when I notice something outside my scope that's hurting your results (or can improve them), I'll tell you.
