I am a Product / UX Designer who excels in empathizing not only with target users, but also developers working behind the scenes. I worked for Liberty Mutual as a Software developer for 1.5 years and most recently as a Product Designer for 4 years where I focused on improving the user experience in the software that our development teams built. My work varied in this space and included, high/low fidelity prototype design in Figma, user interviewing, user journey mapping, persona generation as well as various other facets of product design. Transitioning from a software development position at Liberty to a product design role helped me work more efficiently with the developers that I interacted with on a daily basis as well as better understand the process behind the products that our teams built. I graduated from the of the University of Wisconsin Madison in December of 2019 with a BS degree in Art and a secondary major in Computer Science.
