For the past seven years, I've worked with researchers, academics, healthcare professionals, businesses, government organisations, startups, and authors to produce high-quality written content. My experience includes editing and proofreading journal manuscripts, dissertations, theses, systematic reviews, literature reviews, grant applications, medical device documentation, regulatory documents, capability statements, government tenders, business proposals, technical reports, books, KDP manuscripts, nonfiction publications, website content, blog articles, SEO content, white papers, policy documents, training materials, and professional correspondence. As a published author in peer-reviewed journals and a PhD researcher in Medical Sciences, I understand the level of accuracy, clarity, and attention to detail expected in academic, scientific, and medical writing. I have experience working with medical literature, clinical research documents, medical device submissions, scientific manuscripts, healthcare content, genetics, public health, and evidence-based research, while also editing commercial and business documents where readability and professionalism are equally important. My editing goes beyond correcting grammar and punctuation. I improve structure, strengthen flow, refine language, eliminate inconsistencies, fact-check where appropriate, format references, and ensure every document communicates its message effectively while preserving your voice. I work confidently with APA, MLA, Harvard, Vancouver, and Chicago referencing styles, as well as both British and American English. Whether your project involves academic editing, medical writing, scientific research, book editing, Amazon KDP publishing, developmental editing, copy editing, proofreading, formatting, or publication preparation, my goal is to deliver work that is clear, accurate, polished, and ready for submission, publication, or presentation. In addition to editing and proofreading, I can assist with Microsoft Word formatting, tracked changes, reference management, tables and figures, document layout, Canva designs, Adobe Acrobat PDF editing, presentation formatting, and publication-ready files for journals, conferences, and Amazon KDP. I pride myself on responsive communication, fast turnaround times, and consistently delivering work that exceeds expectations. If you're looking for someone who can confidently handle everything from a single-page business proposal to a 100,000-word manuscript or a complex medical research project, I'd love to discuss how I can help. Looking forward to working with you. Best, Arshi Editor | Proofreader | Medical Researcher | Academic Writing | Business Writing | SEO Articles

My strengths are in proofreading and copyediting nonfiction works, particularly in the self-development, self-help and memoir genres. Although I also have experience with sci-fi, dystopian, fantasy and junior fiction. The three most recent manuscripts I have edited have been: two memoirs based on neuroscience, trauma and self-development, and one historical fiction based on true historical events. Prior to commencing my freelance career, I completed a three-month internship as an assistant editor for an independent book publisher. I read and edited manuscripts for typography and grammar errors, and offered feedback on plot, pacing and characterisation. The genres I worked with were sci-fi/dystopian, fantasy, horror and dark romance. During my studies I also took electives in genre fiction and children's fiction, where I took part in writing and editing workshops. My strength during these workshops was helping my peers create authentic characters and believable dialogue, and identifying repetition, plot holes, pacing issues and contradicting elements within their stories. I am a creative at heart, with a background in Interior Design, and have always had a natural eye for detail. This, combined with my love of reading and storytelling, has armed me with the ability to spot inconsistencies or areas of a manuscript that need to be tweaked or strengthened. As an emerging book editor, I stand by two things. The first is to offer quality over quantity, meaning I will treat every manuscript with the attention and care it deserves. The second is to never rewrite an author's story, but offer edits that enhance it to ensure it is told in the best way possible. My past work experience, combined with everything I've learned during my studies see me best suited to: • Copy editing: nonfiction, fiction, articles, documentation, web copy • Proofreading: all types of written content • Writing: social media posts, blog posts, articles, reviews, web copy Other skills: • Canva pro • Adobe InDesign I take pride in everything I do, no matter how big or small and champion a real, human touch.

I am a professional voice actor able to provide studio quality voice acting/voice over work. I enjoy pushing the limits of my voice ability, as well stretching my skill working on unique and novel roles. I particularly enjoy doing accent work, creature sounds and voices, and character work. I am able to produce studio quality recordings with mixed and mastered audio. I have voiced work previously requiring me to edit and master to ACX (Amazon Audio Book) standards. Through my degrees at Murdoch I've also become an extremely strong writer and editor. In particular, to academic writing, however the skills that I learned through writing academic essays are easily transferrable to other styles such as marketing, persuasive essays, LLM's, proof-reading a variety of styles and even more!
