I am a lifelong lover of literature and have been working in the publishing industry since I completed high school in 2010. I worked as the lead editor for the hybrid publishing company Lifestyle Entrepreneurs Press from 2016 - 2022 and am currently contracted by multiple publishing consultants and small publishing companies. I provided grant writing and editorial skills to Greater Denver Interfaith Alliance (2007-10). I worked with two primary nonprofits through my business. With Votaw Colony Museum, Inc., I co-coordinated two-day public history events held in different locations in eastern Kansas (2006-11). I especially enjoyed my project management work at BlackPast [dot] Org (2008-13) where I obtained photo permissions for the group’s online reference center and developed a new section on African American and African Diaspora Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer (LGBTQ) history.
