We are a prominent online U.S. financial literacy company in search of an individual to assist us with a new writing and researching project as we expand our product to reach our audience worldwide. This will be a long-term/ongoing project with quarterly deadlines and will be very research heavy. Currently, our company offers globally applicable content and localized content specific to individual countries. We are looking to bridge the gap between the two by creating regionally applicable content as well. Based on our current client needs, the focus of the “Asia Pacific” region consists of Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore, Korea, New Zealand, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. The individual we are looking to hire must live in the region or be from there originally. If you have knowledge or expertise in areas of personal finance, debt management, investing, etc., and understand the niche ins and outs of Asian Pacific finance, you are encouraged to apply! Naturally, we do not expect you to be an expert on all financial topics in each of these countries, which is why this project will be so research heavy. We are currently looking for an individual who has the expertise to: - Complete thorough research on a variety of financial topics for multiple different countries. For example, if we pitch an article with the topic of retirement, you will be expected to research common savings accounts, pension plans (or an equivalent), and strategies specific to each of the countries in your designated region. - Compile this research into articles you will write that detail information relevant to each of the countries in your region. Each country should have an equal amount of research completed and specific localized references included in the text. - Write articles on topics like banking, credit, budgeting, investing, and reducing expenses in this region. Each article should average 1,000-1,200 words. Additionally, each article should be written in English with the intended audience in mind: an average person living in the Asian Pacific. After this initial assignment, the writer will be expected to collaborate with our editors as they review and adjust the content as needed. As this will be an ongoing role, you will also be expected to provide additional articles on various financial topics as we pitch them out. Topics and timeline will be discussed at a later time. If you’re interested in this type of long-term engagement, please provide your availability and flat rate per article.
