Managed over $100,000 in monthly ad spend - Google Ads. 🍔 Increasing ROAS by 10X & Increasing Average Order Value for E-commerce takeaway San Antonio based business - FB/IG Ads. 💻 Reduced Cost Per Lead by 91% for B2B Tech Enterprise Within 3 Months - Google & Linkedin Ads. 🏠 Generated 3782+ Leads for a New Build Apartment Complex in London, Which Led to 95 Apartments Being Sold Out in Under a Year. ⚖️ Turned - $63,082.07 to +$14,109.61 Within Just 45 Days of Taking Over the Google Ads Account for a Consulting Company. Will also share a few campaigns that didn’t turn out well, lessons learned and what I implemented from those experiences to ensure that it does not happen again. ❌ Real Estate Client: Month Into the Relationship, I Had Exactly 0 Leads and $1500 Spend. Despite using highly engaging video ads (great CTR, cpc and link click through rate) I was not getting any leads. What happened? Client insisted that I use their landing page with 0 edits from my end. I went along with it and exactly 30 days in, I had to develop a new landing page from scratch. It started getting leads LITERALLY the same day. Generated 401+ leads, and after the end of month 4, the complex was sold out. The client wasn’t happy with performance, even wanted a partial refund because initially I was getting poor quality leads and it took 2 months longer than projected to complete the project. The relationship didn’t end on good terms. 📚What I learned from this encounter? - Do not take on projects where I don’t have control or influence over the landing page. Set clear expectations & requirements from my end. ❌ SaaS Client in the HR Industry: a True Ads Horror Story: $5000 Spent, 0 Closed Deals. One of my first B2B clients and biggest failures. What happened? My strategy was wrong. I used a typical lead generation campaign: download X lead magnet, then put audiences into nurture sequences without TRULY understanding the buyer. I was getting a lot of leads but they had 0 buying intent. They weren’t even interested in the free version of the software, just in the content they were downloading. In addition to the wrong strategy, the client wasn’t ready for paid ads yet, period. They had 0 content, the website looked “put together” and their platform was slightly cheaper than their main competitor but offered 3/10 (was still in development) - this is all fine, but I should’ve helped them with all of the above prior to running ANY paid ads. 📚What I learned from this encounter? - spend the first month really getting to know the buyer, their pain points, needs, wants and what makes the product or service stand out. Then zero in on perfecting the messaging across landing pages, ads creatives & ad copy. - do not take on projects where the likelihood of success is miniscule. Instead on taking on a project, provide consultation and if possible, help out in segments like improving the website design, improving messaging, helping out with content by providing ideas, outlines, etc.
