I received my B.S from the SUNY at Potsdam in Computer Science graduating Magna Cum Laude and my Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology (“Georgia Tech”). I attended for a Ph.D in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (“RPI”). My most recent position was a tutor/teacher at Omega Learning Center and TutorDoctor teaching students from 3rd grade to college students. I also have been a teacher in the New York Mid-Hudson Valley school districts teaching all age groups from 2nd grade to high school students. In college I was a teacher assistant in my undergraduate and graduate studies. During my time in the corporate world I taught training classes. I am a published author for publisher Prentice Hall entitled “Unix Awk and Sed Programmer's Interactive Workbook”. I have taken certification classes in teaching and ESL. I am also a member of the National Tutoring Association, Association for the Coaching and Tutoring profession and American Tutoring Association I teach Math, Science, Business, Economics, Humanities, Social Science, and Computer Science. While possessing a good understanding of the subject matter is a given for teaching it goes beyond just knowledge of subject matter.
