I am a Swiss National born and raised in Switzerland and live close to Malaga in Spain. My main qualifications: Yoga & Mindfulness Teacher/Theraphist & Coach Life Coach Language Tutor Translations/Editing/Proofreading English & German Transcription General Administration and Data Entry To give you a better insight in who I am and what I did and do, please read the following: My first formal training was at a Handelsdiplom Schule, where I acquired a commercial degree and secretarial degree - so fast typing is an easy task for me. As I wanted to conquer the big wide world, I signed up for the SHL, Swiss Hotel Management school in Lucerne. The minimum age to enrol was at that time 22 years, which gave me 3 years to study languages and experience life and freedom. First stop was London, where I completed my Cambridge Proficiency. Then Paris, where I did a Literature & Commercial certificate and in the 3rd year I fulfilled my then dream to live in Rome to learn Italian and work at the Vatican in a souvenir shop, living la dolce vita. In 1993 I finally returned back to Switzerland to start Hotel Managment School. After 3 years my then husband and I decided to emigrate to Cape Town, South Africa, where I worked for 4years in prestigious Hotels/Restaurants. As I did not complete my hotel degree I returned back to Switzerland to do so in 2000. And acquired my diploma in 2001. As in South Africa I developed a passion for teaching untrained staff and coaching them, I felt out of place in Switzerland, where only highly qualified people are employed. Work integration projects were a very new development back in 2000 and it took me 2 years to form the decision that I will in future apply my hospitality skills in work integration projects and study social work. I worked in that field in various positions for exactly 15 years. Then I felt again the call to expand my horizon and decided to take a sabbatical to deepen my knowledge in Yoga, Theraphy and Coaching. I was in Goa, India at the time the world shut down March 2000 and one thing led to another. In Goa India on II formed my own Yoga business, Gyanama Yoga, a sanctuary for women. I offer drop in classes, Meditation, Pranayama, Asana, Mudras, Coaching - retreats and teacher trainings. As Goa is very seasonal and my plan is to expand, I am looking for a part time job or project work that I can do fully remote. I have a exceptionally good technical set up here (yes, it can be tricky in India, it is not just a prejudice, but I invested a good amount of research and implementation in the best possible internet speed/connectivity and power back up). Apart from the obvious qualities I have acquired during my education and work experiences I am looking for any positon that I can do fully remote tutoring, coaching, languages (my mother tongue is German, I also speak French and Italian and a bit of Greek) data entry, transcription, administrative work, writing jobs or any interesting niche jobs and of course if any of it is Yoga related it would be awesome. Privately am very active in the community, I guess one time a social worker, always a social worker and spend a lot of time, money and energy on taking care of the local animal population. Animals and animal rescue are very close to my heart.
