I am an engineer with 30 years experience in the automotive industry. I have worked a variety of engineering positions and have a multitude of skills. The bulk of my engineering career was spent as a controls engineer and hybrid software developer, with ten years in engineering management. I have added cabinet design and manufacturing to my resume in the last year. I have been woodworking and cabinet making since high school in the 1980s and I have had a full home shop where I did cabinetmaking as a part time hobby. Recently I focused on those skillsets in an effort to become a freelancer and added Mozaik cabinet software to my skillset. This along with V-Carve has helped me round out my cabinet making skills and bring them to current generation. I am skilled in Mozaik from system setup to design and CNC programming. My engineering background has been very helpful in shortening the learning curve for Mozaik and V-Carve. In addition to my engineering career I have also been an avid photographer since I was the age of 7. I shot film until the 90s when I transitioned to digital photography and have been editing and post processing photos for over 25 years. I have traveled to many foreign countries and shot photographs. I routinely shoot a dozen weddings per year and edit all my photos on a high end computer system. I have great skills in project management and follow directions well. I ask questions if something is unclear and offer suggestions if I see something that can be improved. My goal is to develop a base of satisfied clients that return for the quality and consistency of my work. My years of experience give me a unique perspective in the engineering field as I have a good understanding of the cross functional environment in todays workplace.
