I am a native speaker of Polish with native proficiency in English and two MA degrees. I have 20+ years of experience in translating texts ranging form history and education to engineering and mathematics, and I have worked as a project manager in linguistic validation and localization projects and as a cultural and linguistic consultant. I am a published author in English in fiction and non-fiction. I have worked as a lead copy editor and a fact-checker for a large project of 400+ translations of children's books. In the area of linguistics, I have experience in phonetic transcription (having used about 10 different phonetic scripts). I have performed many tasks involving the reviews of automated transcription for NLP and providing phonological rules for problem areas. I have conducted reviews of speech synthesis and recognition output, evaluation of tokenizer input/output, and conducted automated text transcription review and correction.
