Preconstruction Coordination / BIM / VDC:
I model 2D plans in 3D and perform clash detection to ensure interdisciplinary coordination before construction. In addition, I have a 3D laser scanner which I use to generate extremely accurate 3D point clouds for use in Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD to generate precise as-builts.
Energy Engineering:
I have extensive experience analyzing and simulating existing and new energy systems to identify energy conservation measures. These systems include boilers, chillers, compressors, air systems, thermal oxidizers, industrial processes and heat recovery opportunities. I am able to leverage powerful tools built into Excel such as Power Query, as well as programmable Open Modelica simulations of energy systems. In addition, I provide life-cycle, NPV, IRR calculations to establish project feasibility.
