I am a qualified vet, writer and public speaker who works both in the UK and internationally, well known under my maiden name, Jo Hardy. I was one of the BBC 2's Young Vets which successfully aired in 2014, being one of ITN's highest viewed series of that year. Since then I've gone on to write over 10 books, two of which were for Harper Collins, and I've become a regular motivational speaker across the UK. I have an Honours degree in Veterinary Medicine, a Certificate in Pain Management, a Masters degree in Tropical Animal Health, and a PhD in Veterinary Epidemiology (Life Sciences).
