I am a qualified vet, writer and public speaker who works both in the UK and internationally, well known under my maiden name, Jo Hardy. I was one of the BBC 2's Young Vets which successfully aired in 2014, being one of ITN's highest viewed series of that year. Since then I've gone on to write over 10 books, two of which were for Harper Collins, and I've become a regular motivational speaker across the UK. I have an Honours degree in Veterinary Medicine, a Certificate in Pain Management, a Masters degree in Tropical Animal Health, and a PhD in Veterinary Epidemiology (Life Sciences). I freelance alongside my clinical work writing expert content for websites, newsletters and other articles and assisting with academic writing including proof-reading CVs, theses and journal publications in the scientific field. I am a Personal Development Coach and I help people to overcome blocks that they are experiencing in their personal or professional lives while they deepen their self-awareness and connection to themselves so that they can get to where they want. We work with those repetitive patterns that keep showing up in their lives (i.e procrastination, fear of speaking up, people pleasing, fear of failure, triggers with other people and anything that keeps on coming up repetitively as this shows the pattern). In my approach, I embody deep compassion and understanding and I meet the person where they are at in that moment. I focus on my clients holistically, acknowledging all parts of them, as well as helping them connect to their inner guidance so that they find the answers within themselves and make long lasting shifts in their reality. I use a blend of tools such as NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), Parts Work and Life Coaching, helping people to get to the root of their issue so they can process their emotions and then shift the perception over the issue, bringing true transformation in their lives.
