With more than 25 years of legal experience as a former trial attorney, I have spent decades analyzing complicated facts, researching difficult legal issues, developing litigation strategy, and turning them into clear, persuasive written advocacy. I do not approach legal writing as simply filling pages with citations. Every brief should have a strategy. I focus on identifying the strongest theory available from the record, organizing the facts around that theory, confronting weaknesses directly, anticipating the opposing argument, and giving the court, arbitrator, or decision-maker a clear path to the result my client is seeking.
I believe technology, including AI, can be a valuable tool in modern legal practice, and I use it selectively where it can improve efficiency. But I never substitute AI for legal judgment. AI can miss nuance, misinterpret a record, and even produce inaccurate law or citations. Every substantive argument, citation, and final work product therefore receives human review and verification. After 25+ years in litigation, I believe experienced human eyes, legal judgment, and critical analysis remain indispensable—particularly when the stakes are high.

Not every client needs—or wants—the expense of traditional full-service legal representation. I provide ongoing general counsel support to individuals, entrepreneurs, professionals, and small businesses who want experienced legal guidance, strategic advice, and legal drafting when they need it.
For individuals, this often means working behind the scenes while they represent themselves in litigation. I provide strategic guidance, case analysis, legal research, motion and pleading drafting, discovery assistance, document review, trial preparation, appellate briefing support, and guidance on court procedures. I regularly assist clients with civil litigation, family law, probate and estate matters, real estate disputes, business disputes, and appeals.
For businesses, I provide practical legal and strategic support involving contract review and analysis, business formation and governance, policies and procedures, risk management, regulatory and compliance matters, commercial leases, corporate transactions, business planning, and day-to-day legal issues.
My goal in either setting is the same: to give clients direct access to more than 25 years of legal experience without requiring them to retain traditional full-service counsel for every issue that arises.
Many clients choose to work with me through an ongoing monthly general counsel arrangement, which provides continuing access to legal guidance and strategy as matters develop, with additional drafting services available as needed.
