In May 2026 Webflow merged the CMS and Business plans into Premium and cut included bandwidth from 100GB to 50GB. Go over for two months and you are upgraded automatically. You pay more for less headroom.
I rebuild your Webflow site as a static Hugo site on Cloudflare Pages. Bandwidth is unlimited and free at any traffic level. No site plan, no CMS item cap, no seat fee, no overage.
Webflow has a free plan, but it is not a site you can run a business on: two pages, 50 CMS items, 1GB of bandwidth, a webflow.io subdomain and a "Made in Webflow" badge. Cloudflare Pages is free in a different sense. Your own domain, unlimited pages, unlimited traffic, no badge, and the GitHub repository transferred to you at handover. Not licensed or managed for a fee. If you never speak to me again the site keeps running, and your only bill is the domain, about $10 a year.
Where Hugo is not better: Webflow's Designer has no real equivalent, and complex scroll interactions need rebuilding in JavaScript. I quote those separately rather than pretending they are free.
