Scalable chatbot
I spent over $5,500 and 2 months on a project that was supposed to deliver a flexible, multi-client AI chatbot platform. The freelancer ignored parts of the scope, claimed key features were “out of scope” (despite being in the spec doc), and delivered something my new dev says is essentially unusable.
He acknowledged in writing that a partial refund was appropriate but has now stopped responding. His Upwork account was allegedly blocked, but I have not received any follow-up or resolution.
I’m extremely disappointed, especially since I was patient and gave multiple chances. I cannot recommend this freelancer for complex technical projects or strategic builds. Proceed with caution.
