I worked with Angelica for about 4-5 weeks. Initially, she made a strong impression with her attendance in meetings, detailed note-taking, and clear communication. Her contributions during the first week were promising, and I had high expectations for her performance moving forward.
However, starting the second week, her engagement and responsiveness significantly declined. I later discovered she had medical issues, which I was not informed of until I initiated communication with her. Despite this, she continued to charge for her weekly services without providing a clear timeline for her return to work or meeting agreed-upon expectations.
In addition to the medical situation, she mentioned other personal responsibilities, such as caring for her animals, as reasons for delays. Unfortunately, tasks I assigned to her were either left incomplete, ignored, or delayed. This was disappointing, especially considering the strong start, as I believed she was capable of much more.
Ultimately, Angelica billed for four to five weeks of work but delivered results primarily within the first week. While I understand personal challenges can arise, clearer communication and a better balance between commitments and professional responsibilities would have been appreciated.
