I am a resourceful environmental specialist with over five years of extensive experience in climate change adaptation, environmental policy and food security among many others. I have a bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning and Management from Kenyatta University in Nairobi and a professional certificate in Sustainable Environmental Management from the Beahrs Environmental Leadership Program hosted by the University of California, Berkeley. I am also a certified Systems Leader by the Systems Leadership Lab.

I focus on conducting research on the nexus of climate change, natural resources, agriculture and society. I have had some great career highlights working in the non-profit and private sectors in collaboration with government agencies playing supporting and leadership roles. I have played critical roles in stakeholder engagement, field experimentation, trade-off analysis, gender-responsive research, participatory approaches, qualitative research methods, scientific writing, data dissemination, and delivering workshops.

Some of my career highlights include developing climate risk profiles for counties in Kenya supported by the Ministry of Agriculture and the World Bank; Re: build implementation survey - International Rescue Committee and the application of multi-stakeholder platforms for land restoration and climate change adaptation in Tanzania - Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT.

I offer environmental writing services, including white papers, green blogs, articles, web content, environmental educational resources, technical writing & environmental reports. I also welcome legitimate academic research/report writing opportunities.
