What I bring:
- Study design & sample size: Cluster-randomized trial design, including empirical ICC estimation and design-effect adjustment for studies with limited cluster counts; a common but often mishandled challenge in small-scale RCTs
- Statistical analysis: Logistic and multinomial regression, chi-square/Cramér's V, ORs, and diagnosis/resolution of issues like quasi-complete separation in sparse categorical data
- Reporting: CONSORT-compliant tables, APA-style results write-ups, and clean, publication-ready output in SPSS, Word, and Excel
- Study types: RCTs, cross-sectional surveys, KAP (knowledge-attitude-practice) studies, and mixed-methods designs
Recent work includes:
- A cluster-randomized trial evaluating an SMS-based intervention for cervical cancer screening uptake
- A cross-sectional KAP study (n=746) on hand hygiene practices, with full regression modeling and results interpretation
- Chart-review and mixed-methods research on pediatric discharge patterns
