This contract got off to a very rocky start as Roxanne told me that she knew how to create Staging site and it was also requested in my job brief, but she started editing our live site which is extremely unprofessional and made us look bad to our customers and investors as they would have seen messy, unformatted, half-edited text and "insert table here" etc on our live site. Furthermore, Roxanne only seems to be online in the middle of the night, so the feedback loop and communication was often very slow. Eventually she managed to roll back her edits, but this was piece by piece so quite slow and error-prone.
Once Roxanne changed to using a Staging site the job progressed ok but it became apparent that there were a few very simple things that she didn't understand or know how to do so we ended up doing them ourselves. This job should have taken a few days, and unfortunately it took 2 weeks.
