Supplier (vendor) onboarding process
Syed has developed a highly detailed and comprehensive supplier onboarding process, covering all critical steps from supplier selection to quality assurance measures. Each point has been meticulously worked through, starting with Supplier Shortlisting, followed by gathering relevant information (Request for Information, RFI) and securing collaboration through Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA).
He structured the entire quotation process (Request for Quotation, RFQ) and smoothly integrated the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase. He also conducted audits to ensure supplier qualification (Supplier Qualification Audit) and thoroughly assessed supplier performance through the Supplier Evaluation.
A key highlight is his work on Supplier Onboarding, where he ensured that new suppliers were seamlessly integrated into the process. Syed also established processes to manage deviations (Supplier Deviation Process) and implemented Traceability measures to guarantee product tracking. Furthermore, he set up a process for handling Change Notice/Discontinuation of Product, ensuring that product changes or discontinuations are properly managed.
In addition, he handled Non-Conformance Material and introduced a continuous Supplier Surveillance Audit process to monitor supplier performance. Syed developed an effective Supplier Performance Monitoring system for ongoing evaluation and optimized the Shipping Process. He also implemented critical Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) measures to address issues and prevent future problems.
This work was both time-consuming and highly complex, and I am very satisfied with the outcome. Syed has done an outstanding job, and I look forward to staying in contact for future collaborations.
