Medical biller/coder to audit charts and assist with billing
Zahid used Ai to answer questions about CPT codes which was a huge issue as it has medical/legal consequences for our clinic. We decided to go with a US based biller due to concerns. There were also many other inaccuracies and he doesn't seem to know how to generate Athena reports as he went through manually to give us info about patients and I had to teach him how to find the 9 digit zipcode in Athena for a patient as he was going to look up on each insurer to ask for the 9 digit zipcode for every patient.
Here is the exchange we had around him using Ai rather than researching codes that he was going to bill. I mean seriously???!!!!

Zahid is an expert with billing and CPT coding and specifically a SUPER USER of Athenanet EHR's system.
Athena is a great EHR, but the billing platform is not the best. It requires someone on the back-end to watch over it and fix problems. Many billers have tried to navigate Athena, but Zahid has been the only person that has done this perfectly. He has found a way to navigate smoothly through the "clunkiness" of the billing platform.
Zahid is honest and knows his limitations (which as few).
Zahid was able to research topics and special coding situations and rules for CMS billing. Whenever he was unsure, he always found an answer either by his own research, phone calls to payers, or by accessing his personal network of billers for advice.
I cannot state how extremely impressed and pleased I am with his work, work ethic, professionalism, and demeanor.
