My family and I were in the middle of a Real Estate purchase in Osaka when things became very confusing and difficult to understand even though we had an Agent and our family member can speak fluent Japanese. I had never used Upwork before and Chikako's profile stood out. We had an initial meeting with her and I just knew instantly that things would get back on track smoothly. I was worried our case may be too complicated and she would say no, but she took the case and began work. Her very first email to me explained Japanese contracts, timeline and even steps that would be coming ahead so we could prepare. She prepared draft emails for me written in Japanese so that I could communicate with others. Everything started to fall into place. Japan Real Estate might be very different from other places (we are from Hawaii and the contract is similar in words, but the process is very different), and Chikako's guidance along each step allowed us to feel confident. She also understands what is needed for the future and makes incredible recommendations that we would not have done on our own. She is well prepared, knows how to research topics, and even provided me walking directions with photos when I was looking for a small shop in a busy train station.
