I hired this freelancer to assist with medical billing and revenue-cycle tasks, but unfortunately the experience was inconsistent and did not meet the expectations discussed at the start of the contract.
There were repeated issues with follow-through on outstanding collections and claim submissions, despite multiple requests to address them. Our office also has a clear same-day payment collection process that was not consistently followed, even after reminders. Availability expectations were communicated as 9 AM–6 PM EST, but communication often occurred late in the evening instead, and there were also instances of no communication or login during the expected workday.
For a billing role, timely follow-up, consistency, and proactive communication are essential. Unfortunately, I did not experience the level of reliability needed to continue the contract.
