Shopify Product Listing & Landing Page Optimization Specialist (Customily & YMQ Expert)
Kiani was polite and communicative, but overall this project did not meet my expectations.
The work involved setting up a somewhat complex Customily product that needed to connect properly to my Shopify inventory. While this type of listing can take some care if someone is not experienced with Customily, I provided detailed requirements, examples for size and placement, and multiple rounds of feedback to help make the expectations clear.
My first concern was availability. The project remained open for about two months, with 55 hours and 50 minutes logged during that time. I had expected the work to be completed much earlier. In fairness, I should have clarified availability upfront, so I take some responsibility for the timeline mismatch.
My second concern was attention to detail. We reviewed requirements together several times, documented changes, and confirmed understanding, and I made myself available for questions. Even so, the final result still had major inconsistencies and was not in a usable state without substantial additional correction.
My biggest concern was time use during hourly billing. Based on the work diary and screenshots, I saw significant time spent on activities unrelated to my project, including other client communications, job searching, watching videos, and other non-project tasks. That raised serious trust concerns for me, especially on an hourly contract.
Because of that, I would not hire Kiani again.
