I hired Craig on Upwork and got to know him over a period of several months before brining him in to work on a project. He made numerous promises, assuring me that he would support my business growth and assist with my clients. I trusted him enough to bring him into three different client projects. However, when the time came to deliver on tasks he claimed to be qualified for, he couldn’t meet the required standard. When confronted with the level of work that needed to be done, Craig admitted he couldn't complete the tasks and then completely disappeared.
Not only did he walk away from that specific project, but he also abandoned two other client projects he was actively working on. This caused damage to my relationships with my clients, cost me money, and had a negative impact on my business.
It’s one thing to admit you can’t do the work and continue with what you can handle, but Craig chose to walk away entirely when held accountable. His actions have caused harm, both financially and professionally. He misrepresented his skills, made promises he didn’t keep, and handled the situation with cowardice and dishonesty.
In short, working with Craig has been an expense, not an investment. I do not recommend anyone hire him. Stay away if you want professionalism and accountability.
