I am creating over 30 Financial Models each year. This Financial Model has been created from the collective experience and feedback from both founders and investors.
It is fully adjustable. You can set the assumptions for Marketing Strategy, Hiring Plan, Revenue Streams, OPEX, Direct Costs, etc.
Also, it is using "timing" to plan different activities. For example, you may roll out the first revenue stream in Month 1 of Year 1, but the 2nd revenue stream is planned for the future (e.g., Month 15 of Year 2). The same happens for OPEX items or Direct Costs. As your startup grows, different OPEX items may be applicable or the growth rate from Y3 onwards may triple. All these assumptions can be modified.
Effectively, your whole strategy will be explained in numbers and be as much defensive as possible for meetings with investors.
