About Molly

Molly L.Status: Offline
Recruiting Operations and Strategy Manager
Seattle, United StatesĀ - 7:45 am local time
I'm a PMPĀ® certified Talent Operations professional with over a decade of experience sitting at the intersection of project management and recruiting operations. I don't just understand how recruiting teams work — I've built the systems, workflows, and processes that make them run efficiently, and I've led the people doing the work.

My career has taken me through some of the most fast-paced and complex hiring environments around, from scaling a talent acquisition team from 2 to 7 professionals at an aerospace company, to managing 25+ concurrent requisitions across multiple recruiters as a Greenhouse administrator, to leading process improvement initiatives that reduced recruiter workload by 30% and cut offer letter revision cycles significantly. I've worn a lot of hats — ATS admin, matrixed people manager, project manager, process designer, and recruiting coordinator — and that breadth is exactly what makes me effective for clients who need someone who can see the whole picture.

What I bring to every engagement:

I earned my PMPĀ® certification in May 2025 through the Project Management Institute, which means I bring structured, disciplined thinking to every project I take on. Whether I'm running a full ATS audit, rebuilding offer letter templates, or designing a candidate communication workflow, I approach the work the way a project manager would — with a clear plan, defined deliverables, documented outcomes, and a clean handoff. No loose ends.

At the same time, I'm not just a process person. I've spent years embedded in recruiting teams, which means I understand the day-to-day realities recruiters face. I know what it feels like when your ATS data is a mess, when offer letters go back and forth too many times, when interview scheduling is eating up hours that should be spent on sourcing. I build solutions that actually work for the humans using them.

My areas of expertise include:

Greenhouse ATS administration, configuration, and optimization
Workflow design and standardization across the full recruiting lifecycle
Offer letter modernization, including contract-style redesigns and dynamic token mapping
Interview scheduling systems and coordination workflows
Pipeline reporting and recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline health, requisition status)
Data integrity audits and candidate record cleanup
Headcount planning support and ATS-to-HRIS alignment
SOP creation and process documentation
Candidate communications automation and template design
Cross-functional project coordination and stakeholder management

A little more about my background:

I spent three years at Helion Energy as a Talent Operations Project Manager, where I served as matrixed manager for a team of 3–4 recruiting coordinators while simultaneously leading multiple process improvement initiatives. I modernized interview preparation workflows, coordinated the rollout of a new headcount planning system across departments, migrated a knowledge library into Confluence, and automated candidate communications through Greenhouse.

Before that, I spent two years at Stratolaunch, where I grew from Recruiting Coordinator to Recruiting Program Lead, building and scaling a TA team during a period of rapid company growth. I owned full-cycle recruiting, ATS administration in Jobvite, executive reporting, agency relationships, and the talent acquisition budget — giving me a 360-degree view of what it takes to run a recruiting function from the ground up.

Most recently, I served as a Recruiting Operations Coordinator at Echodyne, where I managed Greenhouse administration across 25+ active requisitions, led an offer letter modernization initiative, and produced regular pipeline and headcount reports for leadership.

Earlier in my career I provided HR operations, talent acquisition, and project coordination consulting to clients including The PokĆ©mon Company International, Facebook, Funko, and Bungie — so freelance and consulting engagements are nothing new to me.

Who I work best with:

I'm a great fit for startups and growing companies that are building or optimizing their recruiting infrastructure, talent teams that need a seasoned operator to come in and clean things up, and organizations that want structured, documented, repeatable processes — not just a quick fix.

If you're looking for someone who can think strategically, execute operationally, and communicate clearly every step of the way, I'd love to connect. Let's build something that actually works.
