Leveraging my background as a Primary Patent Examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (11+ years) I will work with you to help undertake a search of prior art (e.g. patents and other documents) yourself. We will review how to effectively use the USPTO Patent Public Search tool to search for published patents, as well as interpret our findings. This will ideally assist you in saving money and time by undertaking searches yourself instead of paying others to do so on your behalf. Additionally, we can discuss how to undertake searches beyond patents in order to aid in researching an idea you may have.
