TRNSYS Model Building Expert Needed
Hi Everyone, I hired Humberto to develop a TRNSYS model for a heat pump specifically requiring a source inlet temperature range of 10°C to 45°C. Despite clearly communicating this requirement, the freelancer delivered a model that did not meet this core technical criterion—he built the project in a way that was convenient for him rather than following my specifications. Additionally, he requested that I remove the milestones, and being new to Upwork, I agreed without realizing this would waive my ability to review and approve the work before payment. After 14 days, Upwork automatically released the full payment without my approval, and when I informed him that the deliverables did not fit my needs, he attributed the failure to my lack of understanding rather than addressing the design gap. My advice to other clients: always keep your milestones in place and thoroughly verify the freelancer's technical approach before starting. I have all correspondence and files as evidence, and I would not hire this freelancer again for projects requiring strict technical accuracy
