I am a deeply committed and multidisciplinary professional with a diverse background spanning Health, Safety, and Environmental and Quality Compliance (HSEQC) leadership, ISO Integrated Management Systems, high-risk construction, precision manufacturing, and frontline operational coaching. I recently served as a HSEQC Manager across two complex and high risk organisations—Southern Demolitions and Salvage Ltd and one International Recruitment Company—where I lead the design, implementation, and governance of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001-aligned systems. But more than systems, I build cultures—where compliance is not imposed but embodied, where people become agents of their own safety.
At Southern Demolitions, I was engaged under urgency to lead a full compliance restructure—achieving SiteWise Gold and Totika prequalification in under three months. I architected and deployed an ISO-aligned Integrated Management System (IMS), developed live digital risk registers, created audit-ready documentation, and reshaped the organisational safety narrative. I continue to oversee incident investigations, contractor onboarding and compliance, emergency preparedness, and the integration of Quality, Environment, and H&S systems supporting complex demolition and infrastructure projects.
At the Int. Recruitment Company, a New Zealand labour supply company, I led operational safety transformations across sectors including construction, logistics, and warehousing. I introduced mobile-first digital reporting tools, developed PPE tracking systems linked to live job hazard profiles, and authored a complete suite of tailored HSE policies. I am currently completing the New Zealand Diploma in Workplace Health and Safety Management (Level 6) to further deepen my academic rigour. I possess sharp command of New Zealand’s legal frameworks, including the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, Resource Management Act 1991, and HSNO Act 1996. I bring fluency in tools like SharePoint, Power BI, Microsoft 365, and cloud-based compliance platforms—because modern systems demand modern visibility.
Before specialising in HSE, I spent over a decade as a General Contractor and Business Owner, managing high-end architectural builds. I’ve been where the boots are. My earlier experience in jet engine manufacturing and commercial kitchen operations gives me a unique operational fluency—from blueprint to boardroom, from risk to resolution.
I lead through the lens of Safety-II, Just Culture, and Human and Organisational Performance (HOP).
