Unfortunately, this was a deeply disappointing experience that cost us both time and money.
The scope included a fully functional website with a product configurator and AR functionality, with a hard deadline of February 28, 2026. That deadline passed — and to date, none of these core deliverables have been completed.
Specific issues we encountered:
• The configurator was never built to a professional standard, despite the contractor presenting themselves as experienced in this area
• A substantial budget was agreed upon to cover design — after repeated feedback sessions, the design was never properly implemented
• Product pages remained incomplete
• AR functionality was not delivered at all
We gave the team every opportunity to course-correct with ongoing feedback, but progress was consistently absent. We were left with no choice but to walk away.
We would caution any client on Upwork to avoid agencies connected to Aestar if you cannot afford to lose time or money on undelivered work.Freelancer agreed to provide a fully functioning website
