Mila has done an amazing job with the illustrations for this story. The environment and characters are very specific to the author's life, and she has been able to represent them so well. Mila is so creative, great to work with, and always completes the project on time.

Realistic book illustrations
Mila is AMAZING! I cannot recommend her highly enough - her talent, endless patience and tireless efforts to get things just right. The project was challenging. It involved historical realism (recreating scenes from 1950's Singapore), using old photographs and creating new scenes based on real people and concepts). Mila's work is superb and surprisingly efficient, her work ethic equally as fabulous.

What a beautiful job Mila did on this children's book for Myanmar. The art brief included traditional clothing and specific sewing practices, which Mila has covered so well. The expectation was high on this one but Mila took on any feedback and changes with professionalism and enthusiasm. We love Mila's work and dedication.
