The process of Photorealistic 3d rendering starts with 3d modeling of the products & interior / exterior plans. These 3d models are then textured photorealistically & materials are applied. After which 3d background scene is created & lighting is done. Finally, 3d rendering is done.
The tools that I use for achieving photorealistic 3d renderings are 3ds Max, Vray Next, Substance Painter & Photoshop. However, for 3d modeling, I use AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Blender & ZBrush.
