Creating sketch
At this stage of your work, I create 1-3 sketch versions of characters based on your description.
Creating colored finished version for first review
From that 2-3 sketches you decide one. After that, I create a finished vector character. When you get finished the colored character for the first review you can make any notes that you think need: for example to change some details or colors.
