Project details
Getting a part from concept to printed object requires more than pressing export — the geometry must be watertight, the wall thickness manufacturable, and for multicolor work, the color regions correctly separated and assigned to the right filament slot before the file ever reaches the printer.
With 10+ yrs in mechanical design and product development, I bring engineering precision to every 3D print file I produce. I work in SolidWorks and CATIA natively, which means models are built with correct geometry from the start — not repaired mesh exports from artistic software.
What I deliver: color 3MF files optimized for Bambu Lab and other FDM printers, standard STL files for any printer, multicolor assemblies with filament slot assignment, STL error correction and mesh repair, conversion of sketches and 2D drawings into print-ready 3D models, and STEP or IGES exports where a manufacturing-grade file is also required.
What I do not provide: physical printed parts. All deliverables are digital files only.

Step 1 — Reference Review and Scope Confirmation
I review all uploaded reference material — existing STL, STEP, sketches, or photographs. I confirm whether the geometry is suitable for direct color application or requires rebuilding, and agree on deliverable format before work begins.
Step 2 — 3D Modeling or Mesh Preparation
Part is built in SolidWorks or CATIA with correct wall thickness and watertight geometry. If working from an existing file, mesh errors are corrected before color work begins.
