🔷 What I actually do:
- End-to-end product design for SaaS and fintech. "Zenday" was built from scratch with Eli5 (📌Amsterdam): work management, smart inbox, financial close automation, client portal, document hub.
- For Tailwind App (Pinterest's longest-standing developer partner since 2012), I designed onboarding, user account, and dashboard interfaces laying the foundation for a complex new product with minimal prior context. For FundTap, the invoice-finance onboarding, connecting Xero/MYOB/QuickBooks, credit decisions, automated repayment.
- Conversion-focused e-commerce design. As Senior UI/UX at RYZE (Shopify, ~$74M brand, 4.6M monthly visits, just launched at Target), CRO and A/B testing are my daily routine: designing interfaces, hypothesizing tests, reading the data, iterating.
- Before RYZE I was lead designer at a Swiss e-commerce agency on five DTC brands including Chebeauty and Purifair, building interfaces 0→1 alongside in-house dev, marketing, and CX teams.
Design systems. I don't just use them, I find bugs in tokens and components, fix them, and keep the system fluid so the team isn't fighting their own tools. I do this weekly at RYZE; I did the same on Zenday with Eli5's system.
🔷 How I work:
- I try to keep interfaces direct and uncomplicated. Sometimes I still overshoot and overcomplicate, and when I do I rewind and simplify.
- Communication is the part I take most seriously. I've finished 24 projects on Upwork with a 5-star review on every single one, not because I'm a magician, but because I try to ask the right questions early, surface the problems that haven't put into words yet, and don't go quiet between updates.
🔷 I've also mentored a handful of junior designers, some of them are designer and now work in the industry, some figured out design wasn't for them. Either way, it sharpened how I explain my own work.
