I am a civil engineer with experience in building hydraulic river models for river regulation, riverbank protection, dam, bridges and culvert modeling, as well as floodplain mapping. I have started building models in HEC-RAS for flood plain mapping while still in college getting bachelor’s degree then later on got into QgiS and HEC-HMS hydrology and watershed management as a first step towards effective water management and continued doing it later on while on masters and after employment. I have been working on all stages of the project, from conceptual studies to detailed design.
I am a dedicated professional and will be presenting all reports as instructed by the employer. I encourage regular communication and I am always willing to take an extra mile to get the work done.

Simple Drainage Analysis

I have extensive experience in designing and analyzing rivers, bridges, culverts, and dams, as well as developing floodplain and floodway maps in compliance with FEMA and local standards. I started building HEC-RAS models during my bachelor’s studies and expanded my expertise in QGIS and HEC-HMS during my master’s research and professional work. Over time, I have contributed to all phases of water management projects—from conceptual studies to detailed design.
My experience in water resources management includes:
• Hydraulic modeling of open-channel flow and flood hazard quantification.
• Hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for flood control dams within detailed watershed studies.
• Bridge and culvert hydraulic analyses to determine design flood elevations and required freeboard for lower chord placement.
• Design support for large-scale highway drainage systems.
• Full project involvement in run-of-the-river hydropower plants (>5 MW and several <1 MW), covering dam design, headwater, and design discharge calculations.
