So, like the servant in the parable, I buried my talent for years.
I still made art, but quietly, for myself and for others, never charging, never claiming the title. Fear and circumstance kept the talent wrapped up and buried underground.
God had other plans.
Someone challenged me with a project, and I knew exactly what it needed — real elements. Real leaves. Real flowers. Paint, paper, texture, light. I started experimenting — painted leaves, flower stamps, pressed flowers, watercolour washes — combining the natural with technology. Visions of techniques kept me up at night. And something came alive. On paper, on the screen, and in me.
The Master doesn't want buried talents. Every pattern I create, every brushstroke, every composition is my answer to that — an act of obedience, gratitude and love.
