I have been able to develop skills that have enabled me to add value to many organisations, small, and medium businesses and individuals.
Instructional Design: I have managed more than 100 training events both online and offline and I have been able to work with Subject Matter Experts to develop different curriculums for some of these training. I use the ADDIE methodology in developing learning materials. Other models I use are the Kirk Patrick framework, Bloom Taxonomy and Design Thinking Methodology. I have helped develop a workbook, assessment, facilitators guide, training manual, slide presentation and case studies.
PowerPoint and Google Slide Expert: I have spent the last 10 years creating PowerPoint and Google slides on different subjects/topics from Training and Development, Consulting, Health, Personal Development, Strategy, Religion, Career etc.
This is the design process I follow when working on a project
1. Understand the brief and need of the client
2. Conceptualise the design for the presentation
3. Put together all the digital assets required (Images, Icons, Fonts, Colour Palette, Video etc.)
4. Design the first draft
5. Send draft to client for review
6. Apply all the feedback till the client is satisfied
7. Go through the whole project once again to ensure quality (I use a checklist for Quality Assurance - QA)
NB: This checklist includes; colour consistency, alignment of all shapes/images/icons, grammatical errors, font consistency, the flow of animation)
8. Close the project
CANVA EXPERT: I stumbled on Canva about 5 years ago and since then I have been creating so many designs for both my organisation, small businesses and individuals. My designs are simple and captivating. I understand branding which helps me create designs that are more professional. I create banners, slides, YouTube Thumbnail, Ebooks, Corporate Profile, Brochures, Certificates and everything in between.
Pay rates are negotiable dependent upon contract duration, complexity, my costs, and estimated total earnings.
