Creative Direction & Brand Execution Agreement
Naz is clearly a talented designer who puts genuine effort into her work and communicates with professionalism throughout the process. She was responsive, warm, and always willing to offer revisions.
Unfortunately, the project didn't reach the outcome I had hoped for. The deliverables, while presented with care, didn't fully align with the brief we had discussed before contracting, particularly around the logo direction and the fashion-specific execution I was looking for.
One thing I would mention for future clients is that I was asked to release the full payment for milestone 1 ($950) before any work had been delivered or begun.
I did so in good faith, but in hindsight I would strongly recommend only releasing payment once agreed milestones have been met and deliverables reviewed.
I believe this was largely a case of misaligned expectations rather than a lack of effort. For projects with a very specific creative vision, I would recommend thorough alignment on deliverables and milestones before releasing payment.
I wish Naz well in her future work.
