Python Tutor
We hired this tutor to introduce our son to computer science using Python. While the tutor may be very knowledgeable in the subject matter, we found their teaching style was not a good fit for our son who was 9 or 10.
Unfortunately, he struggled to communicate the information and concepts in a way our son could understand. It also appeared that there wasn't a developed curriculum for the lessons, making them feel unstructured.
It's possible this was the tutor's first time teaching a subject to such a young student. We ultimately had to end the contract. I would not recommend this tutor for young beginners, though he might be better suited for high school students or adults who already have a foundational understanding.
