Looker Studio HR Analytics Dashboard — Multi-Table SQL Data Model + Workforce Intelligence Reporting
Honestly took us a while to find the right person for this. We'd tried two freelancers before who just connected the spreadsheet directly to Looker Studio without touching the underlying data — the numbers were wrong and they didn't know why.
This guy actually dug into the SQL layer first. He found the duplicate department entries that were inflating our salary totals — something our previous freelancers completely missed. He restructured the whole data model using CTEs before building anything visual, which is the right way to do it.
The dashboard itself is clean and our leadership team can actually read it without explanation. The geo map was a specific ask from our COO and it came out exactly right. Turnover rate as a percentage was also his suggestion — we were originally just tracking raw count which wasn't useful for benchmarking.
Only minor thing was the first version had the salary bar chart sorted alphabetically instead of by value — he fixed it immediately when we flagged it. Communication was smooth throughout, always responded within a few hours.
